yoona again?!
Jun. 13th, 2011 09:17 amI translated as best i could this video here:
It was 1 in the morning or so when i did this so there may be some mistakes, but i did this for the people who couldn't understand. I plan on going back and editing it and maybe then i'll sub it. Melissa understand some of the Korean and she said the translation is a bit off, but that's to be expected when not translating something from the original. The Japanese loses a bit of meaning when translated and translating again into English can also lose a bit. But don't worry, it's still a fairly good translation :P
Also, I think her name is Yoona but i used the Japanese katakana spelling, so it's 'Yuna'
Here's the translation:
they introduced themselves after saying 'we are shining SHINee'.

err bear with me i'm still learning Japanese kanji ^^;
J: I'd like you to think of a point to listen for in 'Replay'
T: First off, this time the Japanese lyrics give off a more adult feeling compared to the Korean lyrics. I think the melodies atmosphere changed a bit. I'd like you to listen out for it (? -can't read all the kanji-)
J: What's a part they would be interested in?
T: Hmm, i think my sabi (?) was really good.
J: Sing a bit Taemin.
T. *sings* Even if you do it~
M: Also, because this is our first time recording in Japanese it was difficult to pronounce things at first. With constant practice i got used to it though so i think i can sing more naturally now.
J: Well then, let's see what happens when Minho sings with a natural feel.
J: we also recorded a music video, however this time we all had various roles, didn't we?
M:What was Jonghyun's part again?
J: I am a young singer who has a dream but works part time in a cafe. I practice singing while working.
M: You acted quite well. The way Jonghyun moved his hands like this.
J: Because i'm working when Yuna comes in to the shop (probably something about having to greet her. sorry its late and my eyes hurt). What about Minho?
M: I am a young boy who plays basketball. Right in the middle of the game i fall in love at first site. And then i get hit by the ball.
J: so you become fascinated by her?
M: yeah so I gain the resentment of my friends, or something like that.
J: what about you Key? (note* throughout the whole thing they have been using -san which is kinda' like -ssi which is formal. Here, Jjong uses -kun, a more casual term between friends)
K: I am a university student who desires to be a fashion designer. So when i needed a female model to try on the clothes i made, the fitting model was just too cute. That was Yuna.
J: Yuna again? What about Taemin? (again with -kun, but probably because he's the youngest)
T: I am a dancer who is practicing in the practice room. Actually, the girl i like is there. That girl is Yuna.
J: Again with Yuna?! (lol his face XD)
T: *something about how his heart races when he sees her* That was my role.
O: My role was trying to make a beautiful (still)life, so Yuna's face was made.
J: Again?!
M:In the end, it's a music video about the 5 of us falling in love with one woman. That is, Yuna.
J: Because the content of the MV is so interesting, i'd like for everybody to watch it at least once. Please check out our dancing too.
SHINee: Please listen to Replay~
O: Please take care of us from now on~ This has been
SHINEee~!
K: I'll do my best~ bye bye~
*note: -san is used as an honorific with everybody, just like -ssi in Korean. I'm pretty sure that -kun can be used with anybody that is younger than you (your 'kouhai'). The reason i pointed out Jongkey is because Minho is also younger than Jonghyun however he uses the honorific -san (-ssi). Close friends may use -kun and because Taemin is the 'cute maknae' they probably use -kun for him all the time (i think that's the equivalent of -goon)
I'm keeping this public so that people from youtube can read it. The translation is also later on in the comments but a lot of people couldn't ind them so yeah..
