We have released an original album for the first time in 2 years and 4 months!
It is the album that defines the present us.
My solo song is an original dance number. Check it out, okay? *sparkle*
thanks to arashi_no_jidai for the Japanese text
thanks to kimi_no_tsuki for the editing <33
*--> There are a lot of extra words in this sentence that aren’t there in Japanese so I can almost say with 100% confidence I partially made this up O_o ‘furi’ means ‘appearance’ or ‘pretense’ so that’s way I said ‘seems’. Still…
**--> ‘-rashii’ can also mean ‘seem’. Although I think ‘like’ would be a bit more suitable. Ex: ‘It became the album that defines the present ‘us’. …oh, I didn’t say ‘like’ :S I kind of think the second one, with ‘define’, it may make more sense but as I am not confident in either translation I can’t say which one should be used…
***---> ‘No power/force on our shoulders’. I guess ‘no pressure’ might fit…? I tried translating within the commas, like in English, but I don’t think that works (so I changed it). Punctuation is a bit different in Japanese (well, looking at my book it seems that way…). I had a tough time with this sentence. Although I could understand it, putting it in writing made me question whether I really understood what I read ^^;;
****--> I have no clue how to translate ‘ongaku sei’. Looking at my dictionary it says ‘nature’ or ‘personality’...I had ‘nature’ there but changed it when I read that. The sentence still seems awkward though. Maybe more like, ‘We had a them for each song, so if you can enjoy Arashi’s various personalities through the music I would be glad/happy….maybe??
Well...there it is. I hate being wrong but there is a long way to go and this is the only way to learn right now. I'll continue trying my best! ()you know, the book never touched o n proper word order so that is also why i get lost....)
We no longer have any water and it's killing me. When we had water i never drank any. Now that the bottles are empty i am dehydrated all the time. I can't stand drinking tap water so i have been surviving on milk and ice cubes (although ice cubes were made out of tap water...)
